Today’s shifting global order is increasingly restrictive, and even hostile, toward human mobility. Meanwhile, geopolitical volatility continues to drive more people to seek safety across borders.
On April 23 at 4:30pm ET, Carnegie Council invites you to attend a special virtual event examining the state of migration in 2025 at both the international and local levels.
The multi-part convening will feature conversations led by Michael Doyle, senior fellow for the Council's Model International Mobility Convention (MIMC) project, as well as an expert panel moderated by Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist Molly O'Toole. Together, with representatives from city governments, NGOs, and global institutions, they will highlight key challenges facing migrants today and discuss innovative approaches at the local level to uphold international commitments amid shifting migration policies.
